EAGLES TRIBE Purpose & statement of faith
Our Purpose:
The Eagles Tribe is a group of fathers with sons in grades K-4 who, together, seek to create lifelong memories between fathers and sons with a program that builds inter-family, community and spiritual relationships through shared, structured and enjoyable activities aimed at fostering relationships between boys, their dads and the community.
How We Do It:
Through the Broken Lance Nation, the Eagles Tribe offers fathers and sons ten (10) exciting, cost effective events over a year-long period where families can choose as many events as their schedules allow. Dads and sons participate in campouts that may include everything from archery, rock climbing, shooting rockets, surfing, boogie boarding, sandcastle competitions, campfires and movies to zip-lining, fishing and kayaking. In addition, the Eagles Tribe hosts the annual fascar (pinewood derby) at MCS.
Statement of Faith:
As families of faith, we are Christ followers raising our sons consistent with Proverbs 22:6 and Deuteronomy 6.
"Start children off in the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it."
- Proverbs 22:6
